Hyderabad: The sleuths of the Hyderabad Narcotic Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) along with SR Nagar Police, on 4.7.2022 apprehended 3 Drug Peddlers who were found in illegal possession of Narcotic Drugs i.e., MDMA. Total material seized 30 Grams of MDMA and 2 Cell Phones.
The arrested accused were identified as Navanath Anoop(32), S/o Navanath Suryabhan of Pune, Maharastra and is a Drug supplier; Mohd Abdul Nadeem(29), S/o Mohd Abdul Nayeem of Yousufguda, Hyderabad and is a Drug Transporter; Mohd Khaja Mubeenuddin(23), S/o Mohd Khaja Moinuddin of Yousufguda, Hyderabad and is a Drug peddler. The absconding accused are Tauheed Raja Ahmed (Drug Peddler), Shamsuddin alias Sam (Drug Peddler), Suleman (Drug Peddler), Yousuf alias Party (Drug Peddler), and Sumer (Drug Peddler).
The prime accused Navanath Anoop was born and brought up from Darga wasat, Khadki, Pune, Maharastra State. He started doing Drug business as it is lucrative and it is also easily available in that area. He purchases the MDMA drug in bulk quantity for lower price from one Nigerian National at Delhi and sells the same to his drug Peddlers at Pune and also in Hyderabad. In the process of doing Drug business, he came in contact with a known person by name Mohd Abdul Nadeem who is a resident of Yousufguda, Hyderabad. Mohd Abdul Nadeem purchases the drug from N. Anoop and transports to Hyderabad and Nadeem also sells to Md Khaja Mubeen Uddin, Suleman (Absconding), Yousuf (Absconding) and Sumer (Absconding) and all drug peddlers are residents of Yousufguda, Hyderabad and sells the same to the needy consumers in the limits of Hyderabad City at price of Rs.6000/- per 1 gram of MDMA and are thereby spoiling their lives.
On 4.7.2022, on credible information, the H-NEW along with SR Nagar Police Station apprehended the 3 Drug Peddlers near ESI Bus stop, Erragadda, SR Nagar and seized the material that is 30 Grams of MDMA and 3 Cell Phones from their possession.
On further enquiry, N. Anoop revealed that, he also used to peddle the Narcotics Drugs to 2 more drug peddlers namely Tauheed Raja Ahmed, and Shamshuddin alias Sam, they are absconding. Some consumers are purchasing MDMA from them for their regular consumption, out of them 8 persons have been identified. The apprehended accused persons along with seized material were handed over to SHO, SR Nagar Police Station for further investigation.

In recent times we have seen several youth/students getting addicted to Drugs, committing crime and involving in other anti-social activities. Several families have become victims of this menace. It is an ardent request from Hyderabad City Police to the youth/students not to fall prey to drugs and request the parents to keep a watch on the activities of their children and feel free to approach police or pass information to Police on Phone No. 9490616688 to curtail such anti-social activities and strive for Drug free city.
