Hyderabad: People, especially women celebrate Lal Darwaja Bonalu in old city every year with utmost devotion and in large numbers. A few eve teasers took this occasion as an opportunity to harass women, touched them inappropriately, and took their pictures and videos without their consent. Hyderabad SHE Teams swung into action, caught these eve teasers red-handed, filed cases and produced them in the court. After the hearing, court sentenced the eve teasers to imprisonment ranging from 2 to 10 days along with court fine.

G Sudarshan, Hyderabad; Md Minhaj(19) s/o Md Khaja, Hyderabad; MitakodurYadaiah(33) s/o Narsimulu, Hyderabad; M. Sai Prakash(32), s/o M Ramulu, Hyderabad; T Nikhil(21) S/o T Chinna Babu, N/o. Nizamabad; L Bhadraiah(32) s/o Anjaiah, N/o Nalgonda; Sayem Khan(25) S/o Khalek Khan, Amberpet; M.Mahesh(30) S/o Tulasidas, R/o Ganeshnagar.
Speaking on this occasion, SHE Teams Additional CP, warned the eve teasers.The Additional CP said that anybody harassing women assuming that nobody is watching them should know that Hyderabad SHE Teams are vigilant. And the teams are constantly keeping watch over such persons and their activities in mufti across the city.
