Idukki, Kerala – May 16: In a proud moment for the Student Police Cadet (SPC) programme and Kerala Police, Kumari Sonet Jose, a former SPC cadet from Idukki district, was felicitated by the State Police Chief Shri Shaikh Darvesh Sahib IPS for securing the 54th rank in the prestigious Civil Services Examination.
Sonet, an alumna of St. Antony’s High School, Mundakayam East (SPC Batch 2014–2016), was honoured at the SPC State Residential Camp. A symbol of dedication and discipline, she was earlier recognized as an Outstanding SPC Cadet and recipient of the NNS Best Volunteer Award.
Hailing from Pulikkunnu, Mundakayam, Sonet is the daughter of Mr. E.D. Jose and Mrs. Mary Kutty. Her aspiration to join the civil services was kindled during her time in the SPC programme.
She completed her graduation in Physics from Miranda House College, Delhi, and pursued civil services coaching in Thiruvananthapuram. Her remarkable success comes after three years of committed preparation.
