Jashpur, Chhattisgarh: Jashpur Police has initiated a district-wide special campaign to prevent thefts and strengthen public security. Acting on the directions of SSP Shashi Mohan Singh, intensive checking operations are being carried out across hotels, lodges, dhabas, dharamshalas, and night shelters.
During the drive, police teams are thoroughly verifying the identities of suspicious persons. SSP Singh emphasized that strict action will be taken against hotel or lodge owners who accommodate guests without valid ID proof. Legal action will also be enforced against the sale or consumption of alcohol and other intoxicants in these establishments.
Police have appealed to hotel and lodge owners to extend full cooperation by:
* Not providing accommodation without valid ID proof.
* Immediately informing the police about any suspicious activity.
