They go to the places where they want to steal in rental cars, break the locks on the temples with the help of weapons, break the hundis in it, steal the money and use that money for their bad habits.  In April and May last year, hundies in 10 temples in Kadapa, Kashinayana and Siddavatam mandals were smashed and money was stolen.

Cases have been registered in the respective police stations in connection with these thefts.  According to information received by police on Wednesday as part of the investigation into the case, Rims‌ CI U. Sadasivayya, S.I.  J. Mohan Kumar Gowda along with his staff arrested six persons near the Volvo Company building near Chalamareddy village circle in the city.

From them, cash stolen from hundis in various temples, temple locks and equipment used to smash hundis were seized.  Everyone is addicted to alcohol, has other bad habits and wanders around empty-handed doing nothing.  Five juvenile offenders will be moved to government boys’ home.  The DSP lauded the staff along with the CI and SI for their efforts in arresting the robbers.
