Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, May 16: In a continued effort to ensure transparent and citizen-centric policing, District Superintendent of Police Shri G. Bindu Madhav, IPS, personally received grievances from the public as part of the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) held at the Kakinada District Police Office.
A total of 69 complainants participated in the session, sharing their concerns directly with the District SP. Demonstrating a proactive approach, the SP not only listened attentively but also contacted concerned police officers in real-time, issuing instructions and guidance for prompt redressal of the grievances.
SP Bindu Madhav emphasized that resolving PGRS applications is a top priority for the district police. He also reassured citizens that those unable to attend the session in person may submit their complaints at local police stations, circle offices, and sub-divisional offices. These will be processed with equal priority under the PGRS framework to ensure timely justice.
The initiative reflects the Kakinada Police’s commitment to accountability, accessibility, and people-first policing.
