Kottayam, Kerala, June 10, 2025: In a commendable recognition of outstanding policing, Kumarakom Police Station was declared the Best Police Station, and Vaikom Subdivision the Best Subdivision in Kottayam district for the month of May 2025.
The awards were presented during the monthly Crime Conference held at the Kottayam Police Club, where District Police Chief Dr. K. Karthik IPS presided over the function. Commendation certificates were distributed to numerous officers across various units for their exemplary performance and commitment to public service.
DySP Aneesh K.G. and SHO Shiji K. received the award on behalf of Vaikom Subdivision, which was acknowledged for its effective law enforcement and administrative efficiency.
