Malda: Malda is a district in West Bengal. The Kaliachak Police station personal of Malda district was conducting vehicle checking and the police team came across a car. On stopping the car and making the check of the car the police personal found that 2.6Kg melted opium also called Poppy extract was present in the car.
In connection with this, the police arrested 4 persons on 28.6.2020 and the accused were Nayeem Ansari, Imtiyaz Ansari, Toufique Ansari, and Pradeep Kumar Mahto all of whom
belonged to Angara Police station area, Ranchi. While the accused were transporting 2.6Kg melted opium also known as Poppy extract the police intercepted the vehicle and arrested 4 persons, took the contraband into police custody and seized the vehicle that was used in the smuggling of poppy extract.
