Mannar: Two youths were caught with MDMA drugs. Nooranadu Mutukattukara Vishnu address at home Prasanna’s son Vishnu (22) Jayakumar’s son Akshaysree (22) was arrested at Mutukattukara Thara, Nooranad. One and a half grams of MDMA was seized from them. They came on a bike with drugs to sell to school students and were caught from Kuratikad area of Mannar. The bike they were riding was also taken into custody. This was possible based on secret information received by Alappuzha District Police Chief Mr. G Jayadev IPS Chengannur.
DYSP Dr.R. Jose, Narcotics Cell, DYSP Mr. Binukumar, Alappuzha District DANSAF Team, Mannar Police Station Sub-Inspectors Mr. Abhiram, Mr. John Thomas, Mr. Sreekumar, Civil Police Officers Mr. Siddique ul Akbar and Mr. Sunilkumar were part of the team. The accused were arrested. The investigation was conducted by the police team. The accused were produced in the court and remanded to Mavelikkara sub jail.
