Mysuru City, Karnataka, June 24: As part of the ongoing anti-drug awareness campaign, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime & Traffic) Mr. Sundar Raj K. N. addressed a gathering of 600 NCC cadets at Gangotri Hall, Mysore University, highlighting the serious risks of drug consumption and its harmful effects on health, families, and society.
The session aimed to sensitize youth on the dangers of substance abuse and encourage them to become ambassadors of a drug-free India. Cadets were motivated to stay drug-free and to spread awareness among their peers and communities.
At the end of the event, the cadets took a pledge to contribute towards building a drug-free nation, marking a strong step in community-led prevention efforts.
The Mysuru City Police continue to play a proactive role in youth engagement and public awareness to curb the spread of narcotics and promote a safe and healthy society.
