Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, June 27: In a proactive move to enhance road safety, Palani Nagar Police carried out an intensive vehicle checking drive near Old Tarapuram Road and Balaji Mill Roundabout. The operation was initiated following a directive from Palani DSP Dhananjayan.
Under the supervision of Police Inspector Manimaran and Sub-Inspector Vijay, the checking drive focused on enforcing helmet use among two-wheeler riders. Fines were issued to individuals found riding without helmets, and the team also took the opportunity to educate the public about the importance of wearing helmets for their own safety.
The initiative reflects the commitment of Palani Police to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with traffic rules, while also raising public awareness about responsible riding practices.
