Palghar, Maharashtra: In a decisive action against illegal liquor trade, the Palghar Local Crime Branch, in coordination with Talasari Police Station, intercepted a vehicle at the Talasari border and seized foreign liquor valued at ₹1.19 lakh, along with the car used for transportation. The total seizure is estimated at ₹6.19 lakh.
A case has been registered under the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949. Police officials have confirmed that further investigation is underway to trace the supply network. Authorities commended the swift and vigilant response of the Crime Branch team in upholding the law and preventing illicit activities.
