They effectively control unwanted nighttime activities, arrest local and foreign criminals, and impartially prosecute speeding motorcyclists. They crack down on individuals with crooked moustaches and mafias with vested interests while taking no action against those outside school campuses on bikes. They also suppress nighttime revelry among drinkers. Traffic complaints reported on social media in the Palani area have been resolved, allowing the public to travel happily without traffic issues in some places. These efforts have earned them praise from social activists, the public, and some government officials.
