Chikmagaluru, Karnataka, July 8: In a bid to maintain law and order and strengthen community engagement, police teams in Chikmagaluru city and rural areas carried out an Area Domination Exercise on 8.7.2025.
During the operation, multiple cases were registered for violations of traffic rules, offenses under the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA), and other minor infractions. Officers also held interactions with local residents to build trust and address public concerns.
The exercise reflects the Chikmagaluru Police’s commitment to proactive policing, public safety, and community partnership.
