Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh: In a proactive move to curb crime and ensure public safety, the Prakasam District Police have launched drone-based surveillance under the leadership of District Superintendent of Police Sri A.R. Damodar, IPS.
As part of this initiative, Sky Eye Prakasam drone cameras have been deployed across Kondapi, Veligandla, and Pamuru police station limits to monitor public spaces, deter anti-social elements, and regulate traffic. Along with visible policing, CCTV surveillance systems are also being enhanced in high-footfall areas.
This high-tech initiative aims to prevent incidents, enhance situational awareness, and maintain law and order. The police have called for public cooperation in supporting these efforts to make Prakasam district safer and more secure for all citizens.
