Bathinda, Punjab – May 2025: In a continued and determined effort to combat the menace of drugs, the Punjab Police, under the mission “War Against Drugs”, has completed 86 days of relentless operations across the state.
As part of this mission, police teams have carried out extensive search operations, targeted raids, and intensive public awareness drives in both urban and rural areas. These actions are aimed not only at disrupting drug trafficking networks but also at educating communities and encouraging youth to steer away from substance abuse.
The campaign reflects the Punjab Police’s zero-tolerance policy towards drug-related crimes and its multi-pronged strategy involving enforcement, awareness, and rehabilitation.
“Our goal is clear — to eliminate the drug menace from the roots and build a safe, healthy, and drug-free Punjab,” said a senior official from Punjab Police.
The Police Department has urged citizens to support this initiative by remaining vigilant and reporting suspicious activities. Together, authorities and communities can build a strong front against drug abuse.
