SAS Nagar, Punjab: In a significant intelligence-led operation, the State Special Operations Cell (SSOC), Punjab Police has thwarted a major targeted killing plot linked to Canada-based terrorist Arsh Dala. Two key operatives—Kawaljit Singh of Dharamkot and Navdeep Singh alias Hani of Badduwal—have been apprehended.
The duo was reportedly acting on Dala’s instructions to eliminate rival gang members and extortion targets. With this timely crackdown, the Punjab Police have successfully neutralized a targeted killing module, preventing a serious threat to public safety.
The police seized 1 Zigana .30 bore pistol, and 9 live cartridges from their possession. An FIR has been registered at SSOC, SAS Nagar Police Station, and further investigation is underway to trace the network’s forward and backward linkages.
