Rachakonda : Based on the technical analysis and collation of the available data, the sleuths of Meerpet Police, LB Nagar Zone, Rachakonda Commissionereate nabbed the chain snatcher namely Mohammad Amjad and seized intact stolen gold of 60 grams of ornaments, one motorcycle, and two smartphones all worth Rs.3,00,000/-. A case was registered at Meerpet Police Station of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.
The accused persons are
Mohammad Amjad (45) S/o Masoom Ali R/o H.No.4-26-12/12, Near Bilal Hotel, Suleman Nagar, Chinthalmet, MM pahadi, Rajendra Nagar, Ranga Reddy district. The absconding accused is Mohammad Ibrahim.
The police seized 60 Grams Gold Ornaments from the possession of the accused.
On 5.11.2022 at 08:00 hours the polices received a complaint from Mrs. Adharapu Kanakaratnam W/o Late A.Gandhi,(68) R/o Royal Residency Apts, Pragathinagar, Meerpet, Balapur (M), R.R.Dist, in which she stated that On 05.11.2022 at about 07:00 hours, while the complainant was going to pick flowers for pooja by foot in their colony road, on the way when she reached near Vasavi Kirana General Store, Pragathinagar, Meerpet, in the mean time two unknown persons came on a bike from the opposite direction and suddenly they forcibly robbed her gold ornaments: Pusthela thadu,wg.35 grms, Gold chandraharam 3 rows weighing.50 grams, Gold chain 2weighing 30 gms, Gold Muthyala chain weighing. 10 grams from her neck. She immediately resisted by holding tightly, but the said person forcibly robbed her gold ornaments, and she fell down on the ground, resulting in injuries on her hand palm and neck, and the said unknown persons fled away from the spot with the booty. One kirana shop person observed the same and he raised as “thief” “thief” and tried to caught them, but in vain. If she again see the said persons she said she can identify them. Stating the above complainant requested to take the necessary action as per law at Meerpet Police Station.
The arrest of the accused person was made under the supervision of Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat, I.P.S., Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, Mr. G. Sudheer Babu I.P.S., Addl.Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, Mr. Sunpreet Singh IPS, DCP LB Nagar Zone, Mr. M. Venkateshwarlu, DCP Women Safty, Incharge to the L.B. Nagar Zone and under the directions of Mr. K. Purushotham Reddy, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Vanasthalipuram Division by Mr M.Mahender Reddy, Inspector of Police, Mr. R Saidulu Detective Inspector of Police, Mr. K.Narsing Rathod Sub-Inspector of Police, along with his team. The Good work turned out by the Meerpet Police is highly appreciated and suitably rewarded.
