Rachakonda: On 11.09.2022 at 10:00 pm, acting on a tipoff, the sleuths of Special Operations Team, Malkajgiri Zone along with Choutuppal Police conducted joint operation and nabbed 6 interstate drug peddlers namely Kanumareddy Pavan Kumar(31) S/o. K. Venkateshwara Rao, East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh; Manda Sudheer Babu(27) S/o. Yohan, Eluru district, Andhra Pradesh; Kotipalli Lova Raj(28) S/o. Trimurthulu, East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh is a Transporter of drugs; Milkula Teja(18) S/o. M. Prashanth, Eluru district, Andhra Pradesh is a Transporter of drugs; Pawan Manohar Tambole(26) S/o. Manohar Tambole, resident of Bidar district, Karnataka and presently residing at Begum Bazar, Hyderabad an is a Receiver and Transporter of drugs and Santosh Ghante(31) S/o. Anna Rao, resident of Pune, Maharashtra presently residing at Latur district is a receiver and Transporter of drugs near Choutuppal Toll Plaza, who were indulging in procuring contraband Ganja and transporting it from Vizag to Maharashtra via Hyderabad. A case was registered under NDPS ACT 1985 of Choutuppal Police Station of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.
The absconding accused is Jithu, R/o: Odisha, Baba R/o. Basavakalyan, Bidar district, Karnataka State (Receiver), Mangesh R/o. Maharashtra (Receiver) .
The Police seized Ganja-360 KGs, Maruthi Ertiga Car Bearing registration No.TS-04-EA-3996, Maruthi Brezza Car Bearing registration No.AP-39-JG-7333, Maruthi Ertiga Car Bearing registration No.AP-39-LW-8807, Net Cash Rs.10,000/-, Mobile Phones – 8 Nos.

Commissioner of Police, SOT, by Mr. V. Ashok Reddy, Inspector of Police, SOT, Malkajgiri Zone, Mr. N. Srinivas, Inspector of Police, Choutuppal police station and Sub-Inspectors Mr. P. Vasudev, Mr. G. Raghu Ramudu of SOT and Police personnel of Special Operations Team and Choutuppal Police Station.
