Shopian: The Security forces earlier today gunned down three terrorists in the Keller area of Shopian. The incident took place when an encounter broke out between the terrorists and security forces, officials said.
The Security forces recovered weapons also from the encounter site. However, the identities of the terrorists that have been killed have not yet been ascertained.
A joint operation had been launched by The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Army and The Jammu State police to either apprehend or eliminate the terrorists in the area. The search operation to locate the whereabouts of the terrorists is currently being undertaken.
