Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, September 30, 2025: District Superintendent of Police Mr. Albert John, IPS, conducted an inspection at Alwar Thirunagari Police Station to review its functioning and ensure better service delivery to the public.
During the inspection, the SP verified official records and documents maintained at the station and gave clear instructions to the staff regarding efficient handling of duties. He emphasized that reception slips must be provided to petitioners when registering complaints, ensuring greater transparency and accountability in grievance redressal.
The inspection was also attended by Mr. Niresh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Srivaikundam Sub-Division, along with other police personnel.
The visit reflects the district police’s continued efforts to strengthen public trust and improve citizen-friendly policing.
