Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, July 3: In preparation for the 11th Convocation Ceremony of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada, scheduled for July 4, 2025, District Superintendent of Police Shri G. Bindu Madhav, IPS, conducted a thorough inspection of security arrangements ahead of the visit of Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh Shri Abdul Nazir, who will be attending as the Chief Guest.
The District SP visited key locations including the Helipad at Parade Ground, Guest House, and the Assembly premises within JNTUK, issuing detailed security and safety instructions to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the high-profile event.
SP Bindu Madhav emphasized that strict measures are being implemented to ensure that students, faculty, and dignitaries face no inconvenience and that public safety remains a top priority. He also directed officers to maintain heightened vigilance to prevent any untoward incidents during the Governor’s visit.
Accompanying the SP during the inspection were JNTUK Vice Chancellor Shri Prasad, Registrar and Principal Shri Mohan Rao, Additional SP (AR) Shri S. Srinivasa Rao, Kakinada SDPO Shri Patil Manish Devaraj, IPS, Peddapuram SDPO Shri Sri Hari Raju, and inspectors from Kakinada town and traffic divisions.
