Tamil Nadu, Krishnagiri: Krishnagiri District Superintendent of Police, Mr. Thangadurai, has issued a directive stating that any disclosure of a child victim’s identity in crimes against children—including their name, address, photograph, family details, school, neighborhood, or any other identifying information—on any media platform or social networking site will result in strict action under Section 23 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Additionally, legal action will be taken against individuals spreading false information related to such crimes.
