East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh: To ensure peaceful and safe completion of Ganesh idol immersions, District Superintendent of Police Sri D. Narasimha Kishore, IPS, conducted a Zoom video conference with police officers and reviewed security arrangements across the district.
The SP instructed officers to maintain a strong police presence along procession routes, which were mapped using Google tools for better monitoring. He emphasized the need for smooth traffic flow, directing that no inconvenience should be caused to the public.
Clear instructions were given to prohibit DJs with excessive loud sound, and to ensure that only vehicles with prior permission are allowed on designated immersion routes. The SP further stressed the importance of strict coordination with Municipality, Revenue, Irrigation, Excise, Electricity, and Fire departments, while arranging barricading, cranes, lighting, and swimmers for safety.
Appealing for public cooperation, the SP assured that all measures are in place to ensure orderly, safe, and incident-free immersions.
The meeting was attended by Additional SP (Admin) Sri N. M. Muralikrishna, Additional SP (Crimes) Sri L. Arjun, and other senior officers and staff.
