Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, October 28, 2025: In view of the scheduled visit of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu to Kovilpatti this evening, Thoothukudi District Superintendent of Police Mr. Albert John, I.P.S., conducted an on-ground inspection of the security arrangements in and around the venue.
During the inspection, the SP reviewed the deployment of police personnel, traffic regulation measures, and crowd management strategies to ensure the Chief Minister’s visit proceeds smoothly and securely. He also issued instructions to the officers on maintaining strict vigilance and ensuring seamless coordination among all units.
Additional Superintendents of Police Mr. Arumugam and Mr. Deepu, along with Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kovilpatti Sub-Division, Mr. Jaganathan, were present during the inspection.
The Thoothukudi District Police have made comprehensive arrangements to ensure foolproof security, smooth traffic flow, and public safety throughout the Chief Minister’s visit.
