Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, June 24: District officials from Srikakulam, including District Collector Sri Swapnil Dinakar Pundkar, IAS, and Superintendent of Police Sri V. Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, actively participated in the prestigious “First Step in Good Governance” conference held in Amaravati on Monday.
The conference was chaired by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Sri Pawan Kalyan, and focused on reviewing the past year’s governance performance, as well as discussing future developmental and welfare strategies for the state.
During the session, the District Collector and SP shared insightful perspectives and data-driven analysis highlighting the efforts undertaken in public welfare, law enforcement, and district development throughout the year. Their contributions underscored the integrated approach of administration and police in achieving good governance outcomes.
Adding to the district’s pride, Srikakulam received recognition from the World Book of Records for Yoga-related achievements, which was formally acknowledged and received by the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister.
The presence and active participation of senior district officials reflect the administration’s commitment to transparent, accountable, and people-centric governance.
