Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, October 7: The birth anniversary of Adikavi Maharshi Valmiki, the revered author of the Ramayana and the first poet of Indian literature, was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at the Srikakulam District Police Office.
Additional SPs K.V. Ramana and P. Srinivasa Rao paid floral tributes to Maharshi Valmiki and highlighted his timeless message of truth, righteousness, and service to humanity.
Speaking on the occasion, Additional SP K.V. Ramana said Maharshi Valmiki’s life and teachings continue to inspire the youth to live with integrity, discipline, and devotion to duty. He urged everyone to follow the path shown by Maharshi Valmiki to build a peaceful and harmonious society.
DSP Sheshadri, AVO Gopinath, CI Srinivas, RIs Narasing Rao, Krishna Prasad, and police staff also participated and paid rich tributes during the program.
