Bhaktinagar: On 5.7.2022 one Mrs. Nilam Sharma of Jyotinagar, Ward No 41 SMC who runs a small scale industry at Ektiasal, Near Eastern bypass Road reported that on opening her factory on the morning of 5.7.2022, she found that some unknown miscreants had broken the cash box and stole away cash Rs.52,500/-.
Over this a specific case was registered at Bhaktinagar Police Station and a team of officers and men immediately started working on the case by scrutinizing the CCTV footages of the area and sensitizing the local source network.
The hard work of the police team bore fruit and was able to identify and apprehend the culprit named Biswajit Roy of Ektiasal, Bhaktinagar Police Station SPC today afternoon.
Furthermore he confessed to have committed the crime and the entire amount of the stolen cash have been recovered.
Later in the evening IC of Bhaktinagar Police Station went to the residence of the complainant Mrs. Nilam Sharma and handed over the recovered cash to her after observing proper formalities.
