Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu: Demonstrating their commitment to women’s safety, the Investigation Unit of Crimes Against Women (IUCAW) conducted an impactful awareness program at Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Ayurveda College, located under the Nazarethpet Police Station limits.
More than 250 female students participated in the session, where officers educated them on important topics including safety in relationships, prevention of harassment and sexual assault, responsible use of social media, cybercrime awareness, and the use of emergency helpline numbers.
The initiative aimed to empower young women with knowledge and encourage them to speak up against crimes, reflecting the proactive efforts of the Thiruvallur Police to build a safer and more informed society.
