Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, November 3: In a proactive measure to prevent crimes and enhance public safety, Thoothukudi District Superintendent of Police, Mr. Albert John, IPS, personally conducted a vehicle inspection drive in the Mapillaiyurani area under the limits of Thoothukudi SIPCOT Police Station on Monday (03.11.2025).
During the inspection, the SP instructed the police personnel to remain vigilant and thoroughly check suspicious vehicles to curb illegal activities. He also emphasized the importance of ensuring smooth traffic movement during the operation by safely parking intercepted vehicles and using reflective jackets for visibility and officer safety.
The SP further advised officers to conduct such surprise inspections regularly to maintain law and order, enhance public confidence, and deter criminal activities in industrial and suburban areas.
