Thrissur City, Kerala, May 16: In a firm step towards ensuring public safety and maintaining law and order, Thrissur City Police have detained a notorious repeat offender under the Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act (KAPA).
Jishnu (25), a resident of Kelangath House, Kozhukkully, and a habitual offender with multiple criminal cases, including two murders, was apprehended by the Mannuthy Police following a KAPA detention order issued by District Collector and District Magistrate Shri Arjun Pandian IAS.
The accused, involved in approximately nine criminal cases, was taken into custody immediately after securing bail in one such case. The swift action reflects the police department’s zero-tolerance approach towards repeat offenders and anti-social elements.
