Thrissur: On Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 4 pm, the Thrissur City Police Commissioner, along with his team, visited Divanji Moola Nagar, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Thrissur Town East Police Station. During the visit, they held a meeting to address the complaints of the residents and assured them that necessary actions would be taken. The Commissioner emphasized that he would personally look into issues related to drug prevention and other crimes to ensure the safety of the area.
This visit follows an earlier inspection by Thrissur Assistant Commissioner Salish Sankaran, who identified and addressed areas frequented by anti-social elements. Assistant Excise Commissioner Satish also participated in the visit and informed residents that steps would be taken to curb narcotics-related activities.
The meeting was inaugurated by Thrissur City Police Commissioner Ilango AAP and presided over by Assistant Commissioner NS Salish Sankaran. West Police Station Inspector Lalkumar welcomed the participants, while Excise Inspector Rinro, Assistant Excise Commissioner Ashok Kumar, and other officials from the Corporation Health Section, General Section, and police officers were also present.
