Tirupattur, Tamil Nadu, October 7: As per the directions of District Superintendent of Police Mrs. V. Syamala Devi, the Tirupattur District Police organized a Social Security Awareness Program at Kasinayakkanpatti Government Higher Secondary School under Kandili Union.
The program, led by SJHR Special Assistant Inspector Mrs. Ruby, aimed to educate students on important social and safety topics. Awareness was created on the POCSO Act, prevention of child marriage, cybercrimes, dangers of drug abuse, and traffic rules.
Students were also informed about emergency helpline numbers including 181 (Women Helpline), 1098 (Child Helpline), and the Kaaval Udhavi App for police assistance.
This initiative reflects the Tirupattur Police’s commitment to promoting awareness and safeguarding youth through continuous community engagement and education programs.
