Srinagar: The Union Home Secretary, Mr. Ajay Kumar Bhalla, paid a visit to the Police Headquarters in Srinagar, the capital city of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. During his visit, he chaired a meeting with senior officers of the J&K Police. The Director of Intelligence Bureau (IB), Sh Tapan Kumar Deka, accompanied the Union Home Secretary during the visit.
The meeting primarily focused on discussing the working of the J&K Police and the measures taken to maintain peace in the region. The DGP J&K, Mr. Dilbag Singh IPS, and other officials provided detailed briefings to the Union Home Secretary about the current law and order situation in the Union Territory.
