Wayanad, Kerala, October 2025: In a swift and effective action, the Thirunelli Police arrested a youth who repeatedly engaged in reckless speeding and evading law enforcement officers.
The accused, Yadu Simon (27) of Pallikunnu, Kurishingal, was apprehended following an incident on 04.10.2025 at Bavali, where he ignored police signals to stop and attempted to flee. The pillion rider had reportedly hidden and later removed the vehicle’s number plate in an attempt to avoid identification.
The Thirunelli Police registered an FIR and seized the motorcycle bearing registration number KL 72 F 0093. The decisive action highlights the Wayanad Police’s strong commitment to road safety and strict enforcement of traffic laws to ensure public safety.
